NEWS THAT MATTERS!
Hurricane Irma information:
As a result of Hurricane Irma, there has been some downed trees in our community. As per usual, single family homes are responsible for the clean-up and damages sustained to their homes and yards and claims should be addressed to you homeowners insurance policy.
As for townhome owners, we have obtained the following information from Associa, our management company. The first article is an excerpt from our HOA documents. The HOA documents are also available on this website in their entirety under the tab "HOA DOCUMENTS". The next is a letter from our HOA lawyer regarding the issue of roof damage.
These are inserted as links. Please contact inpshoa@gmail.com if you have difficulties opening these links.

Additional questions regarding the clean-up or repairs of the townhomes should be addressed with Associa or Gyneen Godwin, our community manager. Her contact information is also listed on this website.

Next HOA Board meeting:
Annual Homeowner's Meeting:
December, Monday, December 11, 2017 @ 6:00pm
First Baptist Church, Lakeside Campus
8464 Winter Garden Vineland Rd
Building 4
This your opportunity to run for a position on the HOA Board. If you choose not to run for a position on the board, this is your chance to vote for those you want to see on the board. If you cannot attend, please fill out your proxy and turn it over to one of the current board members or to one of your neighbors that is willing to cast your vote for you. This is important since we need to have a majority of the community represented, in person or by proxy, in order to even have an election. So please do your part in the community and make sure your vote is included this Monday!
Thank you very much for your continued support!

Safety information regarding Hurricane Irma:
Associa has put out the following safety information:
With the potential of storm conditions starting to threaten Florida before the end of the week, we thought it would be helpful to remind our board members of some hurricane preparation plans and steps that can be taken to safeguard your property.
-
Identify residents of the community who may have special medical needs and who will require special assistance in evacuations. Neighbors should offer assistance.
-
Have ready your insurance carrier’s contact information so that insurance claims can be filed.
-
Ensure that you have all of the items that you will need after the storm, such as food, water, and medicines. Please see attached our Hurricane Checklist for great information.
-
Secure outdoor belongings that could become projectiles during the storm.
-
The Board of Directors should be prepared and ready to meet/communicate after the Hurricane to make any necessary emergency decisions that may be needed to protect residents and the community.
For more information, please click here to see our Associa Hurricane Guide.

Official exterior color schemes:
If you are planning on repainting the exterior of your home, please refer to the approved color schemes for Preston Square homes. These are the only approved color schemes for the community, and when choosing a color for a home, the entire scheme must be followed. Any change to the current color of your home must be approved by the Architectural Review Committee.

Mosquito control:
The Sod Doctor is offering mosquito control to Preston Square home owners for $30 per yard. For more information, please visit www.soddoctor.com

Special lawn treatment deal for single family home owners:
Read the Sod Doctor's flyer here.

New county-issued trash cans:
The new county-issued trash cans should now be in use. Trash and recyclables will be collected on Thursday mornings, and yard waste will be collected on Fridays. Please remember that the covenants and restrictions of Preston Square mandate that all trash cans be stored inside your garage and out of sight. If you would prefer a smaller 65-gallon can to the 95-gallon cans issued by the county, you may call them at 407-836-6601 to place a request. The smaller cans will be swapped out when they become available in the spring.
